Liquid Lipo

Liquid Lipo is a FDA approved medication called Deoxycholic Acid which breaks down and eliminates fat cells where it is injected. This is a non-surgical option for treating submental fullness, also called the “double chin”. It is administered as a series of injections to the area under the chin, destroying fat cells and producing gradual results; improving the appearance of your profile. Everyone's profile is different, so your provider will tailor treatment to you. The number of treatment sessions will vary based on the amount of fat under the chin and your treatment goals.

Contraindications for Liquid Lipo:

You should not get Liquid Lipo (deoxycholic acid) injections if you are pregnant or nursing, have had facial surgery in the past or planned facial surgery in the near future, have trouble swallowing, have an active infection or medical condition involving the submental area.

Appointment Planning:

Before getting deoxycholic acid injection treatment you want to avoid taking Aspirin, Fish Oil, Vitamin E, and any NSAIDs (Non Steroidal Anti inflammatory agents such as Motrin, Advil, Aleve, Ibuprofen, Naproxen) for 7 days prior to your treatment . Avoid alcohol consumption at least 48 hours before your treatment. You may want to bring a scarf or turtle neck to your appointment in order to camouflage any noticeable swelling after the procedure. Plan your appointment well in advance and make sure you are not attending a party or a wedding venue for at least 4 weeks after treatment.

Detailed post-procedure instructions will be provided after your service
