Hyaluronic Acid fillers are injected into targeted areas under the skin and are used to add volume, smooth lines and wrinkles, and enhance areas of the face. Hyaluronic acid is naturally occurring in your body so dermal fillers are very safe and effective treatment options. Fillers can last several months to years They are biodegradable so they will slowly, safely, and natural dissolve in your body over time.
Dermal fillers are very versatile and can be used to:

contour the cheeks
soften nasolabial folds
fill in lip lines
sharpen the jawline
add projection or length to the chin
What To Expect During Your Appointment:
Our nurse practitioners will create a customized plan with you to ensure natural, youthful correction! We will do a facial consultation to determine appropriate treatment areas and which type of filler is right for you. Your safety is our number one priority so we stay up to date on the safest most effective procedures. We want you to be as comfortable as possible during your treatment; we can use numbing medication, ice, distraction tools, relaxing music, or whatever else you need to make it the best possible experience.
Contraindications for Dermal Fillers:
You should not receive dermal filler treatments if you have had an adverse reaction previously or if you are pregnant or nursing, have an allergy to lidocaine, have a bleeding disorders, active infection, or scarring in the treatment area, have a history of keloid scarring, have an autoimmune disease, or are currently on antiplatelet or anticoagulant therapy.
Appointment Planning:
Before getting dermal filler you will want to avoid taking medications such as aspirin, Ibuprofen, naproxen, fish oil, Ginko Biloba, and St. Johns Wart as these can increase the risk for bleeding and bruising at the treated site(s). Please let your practitioner know what medications and supplements you are taking. Let us know if you have a history of cold sores and are planning treatments in/around the lip area and we can provide a prophylactic antiviral. Let your provider know if you have had any dental cleanings or procedures 2 weeks before or upcoming after your appointment. Your provider will go through your medical history at your appointment.
There is little to no downtime for our aesthetic procedures, but you may have some bruising and swelling for several days to a week after treatment. Makeup will need to be removed for aesthetic treatments and in most cases will need to be avoided for 1-2 days after treatment. Please keep this in mind as you plan treatments prior to events or trips. Detailed post-procedure instructions will be provided after your service.
